Pretty much a couple of months ago when i was blogging about ABDC 4 , i picked some of my favorites and luckily so far i havent beenwrong with my pics. Last Season we saw We are heroes bag the first ever ABDC all female champions. This Season ABDC came up with a new concept with regionals and for the first time ever competitors from CANADA .

ANyway were looking forward to this season and lets see how things unfold from what i saw so far my favorites have been Poreotix, Hype 5-0 and Blueprint . .

Hi guys , its been quite sometime since i posted something , ive been taking a time off for myself cause i have bee stressed out lately and a lot has been happening. Well anyway heres another post. One of my New Years resolution the past year was to become a better person in my own little ways . I know the resolution is quite vague until you get something really solid. Anyway If you remember about one of my older posts, i posted 2 charities of my choice that we should all be aware of, namely Charity Water and Fight HUnger .

Its unfortunate how other people go through so much just to get the basic needs that should be accesible to us easily. BUt for some families in Africa and im pretty sure other parts of the world some people stil doesnt have access to this needs especially clean water.

SO im reliving that post for a good Cause.My blog just partnered with social vibe which is a network who handles this kind of stuff. And My Chosen Charity is Charity water which helps this people by building wells for access of clean Water.

Its like what i always say , to be able to make a difference you dont need to be somebody, or come from a very wealthy family or a celebrity to help. Since i know i have a decent number of followers in my blogsite i would like to ask everyone to help .

A great day hanging with my sisters

SO its a sunday , no work , so planned to go out with my sisters we first went to this korean hair place to have my haircut which i eventually persuaded my sister to have one herself but she ended up with just having a bang snip. Then we got coffee and ice cream and then dined out it was all about food and catching up since we dont get to hang around together as much as we did



We got at the salon around 3:30 ish and the place was packed. Looks like everyone needed some pampering , i was greeted by the friendly korean lady "anyeong haseo" and directed us to the receptionist we got reservations for 2 chairs but we had to wait cause there were 2 more people in line ahead of us

buying time with my sister while i wait for my turn on the chair



Got a bit hungry after that so we decided to visit starbucks which was conveniently near the salon to have coffee and snacks


Funny thing is that i was planning to go out with some of my friends , but they flaked on me few hours before were supposed to go out soo boooo you guys! Well at least got a great time with family. The last time we really got together to go out was like 3 years ago when we werent that busy yet and everyone are still going through college and stuff.


And MInd you this was just my order haha, im a fatty oh well i guess it was my reward myself for all the hard work i did with the diet and working out . I Lost my belly in a span of 3 weeks . So i ordered a feast for myself . Lets see i had Asparagus roll thats the white stuff, an uni (sea urchin) Roll thats the green stuff on the top, tofu, miso soup, some japanese fried rice and a watermelon shake. I was soo stuffed but eitherway i had a great time with my sisters

AFROBORIKE

(Las Vegas, NV) – Comprised of fiery Puerto Ricans and Cubans, Afroborike is a hot Salsa crew ready to bring their own brand of raw and sexy Latin dancing to America. These dancers are hungry to experience the “American dream” and long to have the freedom of movement they have seen in American music videos.

ARTISTRY IN MOTION

(North Hollywood, CA) – An all-female crew trying to break the stereotype of “bootyshakers,” they are strong-minded women who bring their own contemporary and original style called “contemp-hop.” Proud feminists, this all-girl group knows their energy, force and sex appeal make them more than capable to take on and dominate any all-male crew in their way.

BEAT YA FEET KINGS

(Washington, D.C.) – This D.C. crew will take the stage with their very own dance style called “Beatin’ Ya Feet.” Their performances consist of a unique mix of footwork that could make them unstoppable. Although their style is currently only known around the D.C. area, the Kings believe they have created something the rest of the world should see and catch up to. Featured on “It’s Showtime at the Apollo” and an MTV inauguration special, they are slowly making their way into the public eye. Combined with their fresh style, this crew also exudes humility and, when they need it most, a hard energy that could make them champions.

FR3SH

(Matawan, NJ) – With a unique blend of jazz and funk, Fr3sh infuses a sense of humor into their choreography and compare themselves to the movie “The Breakfast Club,” priding themselves on being rowdy and rebellious. Their mix of sarcasm, humor, cockiness and raw talent could take them all the way to the top.

WE ARE HEROES

(Los Angeles, CA) – This group of effervescent young women came together from New York, Idaho and as far as Japan to fulfill their dreams of dancing in Hollywood. Growing up in all corners of the globe, they were inspired by everything from Fred Astaire to Michael Jackson and have honed their dancing into something they call “Glam Style,” which they hope is good enough to crown them the first girl crew to win “ABDC.”

MASSIVE MONKEES

(Seattle, WA) – This Seattle crew have grinded their way through national and international competition at the highest level over the past five years. They have won a number of prestigious titles including B-boy Summit 2000 and the World B-boy Championships at Wembley Arena in London, England. The Monkees are actively involved in their community, working at local centers with children, coaching child sports and teaching b-boy classes. They even have their own holiday, as April 26th was dubbed Seattle’s official Massive Monkees Day in 2004. With this much talent and personality, they could be next in the line of b-boy crews to walk away with the $100,000 prize.

RHYTHM CITY (Bronx, NY)

– Struggling on the streets of the Bronx with little to no familial support gave Rhythm City no other option than to stick together, and they intend to use their original style from the Bronx – “the birthplace of hip-hop” – as a secret weapon. The crew has placed highly in an array of dance competitions including Invasion, Blazin’ the Stage, The Main Event, Switzerland’s Dance 2 Dance and, most recently, they won first place at Culture Shock EDC. From living in foster homes to surviving abuse, exposure to life on the streets has taken its toll on each member. As a result, crew leader Alonzo Williams created Rhythm City, a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting kids off the streets and involved in dance.

SOUTHERN MOVEMENT

(Nashville, TN) – Urban cowboys that hail from the country music capitol of the world, this crew fuses hard-hitting hip-hop choreography with country line dancing. They pride themselves on being able to hang in the club one night and a country bar the next. Referring to their style as “Hick-Hop,” this crew plans to bring something unexpected and their main goal is to change the way America views the South and its residents.

VOGUE EVOLUTION

(New York, NY) – The first openly gay crew to ever compete on the “ABDC” stage, the five members of Vogue Evolution are out, proud and determined to live their lives the way they want to. Their distinctive “vogue” style of dance mixed with hip hop makes this crew unique, along with working to educate others on AIDS/HIV awareness. They hope to touch everyone watching with their outspoken flare.

We know we all love Americas Best Dance Crew since the first season . Personally Im a big fan of the show. Being part of the dance community myself its exciting to watch all these crews and familiar faces battle it out to the last crew standing. Well after how we see each season the crews gets better and the challenges becomes tougher, i sure do hope that that the new crews will bring something new to the table. I mean Quest and Beatfreaks as top 2 for the last season is hard to beat. Anyway Here is Teaser for the 4th season premier. Americas Best Dance Crew will start August 4,2009 9p/8C
